We could turn back the clock forty years, and the names of the NFL owners heavily involved in important league negotiations wouldn’t really change: Mara, Hunt, and Rooney.

On Wednesday, Steelers president Art Rooney II will join the mediated negotiations (http://twitter.com/AdamSchefter/status/45467255617753088) with the NFLPA, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Rooney will join Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and Giants owner John Mara in the talks as generational stewards of the game............

I'm pretty well studied in this kind of stuff (negotiations in general)... I don't see this going on into the season. That would be a no-no because the "owners" would then begin losing money. "Around" about 3-1 months before the season (preseason) starts is more realistic...

i hope the owners don't bend. the players get far too much as it is.

a rookie cap is a must.

I was hoping he would let "Go To Hell" sink in his own filthy stench.

No matter the outcome I hope somehow someway we can get this piece of garbage commish fired and the sooner the better!!!
