After a turn-back-the-clock game that ended with a disappointing outcome Steelers wide receiver Hines Ward said he has no plans to retire.

“I’ll be back,” Ward said after the Steelers’ 31-25 loss to the Green Bay in Super Bowl XLV. “I’m not going anywhere.”

Ward, 34, played one of his best games of the season and looked anything but aging in catching seven passes for 78 yards and a touchdown...................

He really did show his worth in the Super Bowl,played a helluva game. He could easily play another two years.

I'm happy to hear that Hines will be back next season! :rockon: :applaudit:

He made a couple of very clutch catches last night and clearly showed that he has a ton of gas left in his tank! :tt02:

I'm glad he's coming back, if for nothing else our young guns need another year of teaching.

I have a wonderful feeling that Hines coming back for 1 more season is a special moment, I know he would have retired if he would have won that 3rd ring, and remember when Bettis came back and we won it for him and next season will be for Hines.

Agreed, Ward is the epitomy of Great Receivers & he can show these young receivers quite a bit. Glad 2 have Ward back
