Ben Roethlisberger once again finds himself in the middle of a media feeding frenzy, and it’s not even for a legitimate reason this time. There are no accusations being thrown out there, unless of course patrons of the bar that he bought drinks for are mad that he also covered the tip.

Good read Steel Hurtin' - thanks! :drink:

Rodgers comment was a bit snarky and over the top imho. I hope the Steelers D takes it to him big time tomorrow. :tt03:

I'm not surprised at all. Like I have said before the media is so short of real reporters that these no talent hacks will grab at the easiest non story they can find. Unfortunately Ben is an easy target right now.

Of course he wasn’t, Rodgers and his teammates were out escorting the elderly to Bingo while singing church hymns, and then took the entire crowd out for ice cream.

:rofl2:

The big deal they made about "Ben's night out" was in itself an accusation. Or am I supposed to believe none of the Packers players left their rooms all week? Haven't seen one bit of any coverage of their activities.

The Packers went out for church. Then they went home and watched "The Sound of Music" and went to bed at 8pm. Please don't make any scandal out of that.

I hear they were watching re-runs of Glee.

Yeah i guess all the packers were hiding under a rock. Even if Ben had trimmed his beard would have made the headlines.

When asked on Sirius NFL radio what he was planning ot do tonight, Tomlin said he was going to catch up on Jersey Shore. :chuckle:

Very good read, Steel Hurtin'. I saw the video from TMZ of Ben, sitting on a bar stool, belting out Piano Man, and I LOVE IT. I mean honestly, nothing to see here folks, move along.

Tomlin loves him some Jersey Shore.

I also heard he is a big fan of "Heidi". The media didn't get the scoop where Tomlin could be heard yelling "Heidi!" down the hotel halls and a little voice - presumed to be that of Shaun Suisham, yelling back "Grandfather!".
