Just for fun - see how close you come to predicting the Super Bowl XLV winner and the score! :tt02: :drink:

While I must admit there is an itsy bitsy tad of homerism here, I truly believe the Steelers will prevail by the score of 27-20. :tt02:

Steelers 24 - 22. Cheese Heads score late but fail to make the 2 pt conversion.
Before the game even ends there will be 2000 blogs explaining how the refs cheated for the steelers and cost the next Tom Terrific(Aaron the Amazing) his rightful victory.

I agree. I think the Packer will score most of their points in garbage time.

Steelers 38-27. I think we get up early like in the AFC title game. GB goes all pass 5 wide scores a couple but we get turnovers and turn them into points. Legursky proves his worth and Ben gets sweet sweet redemption as MVP.

So I should just make up a score to "have faith?" OR I could just be more objective than some and make a prediction based on how good the Packers are. lol...no need to get all butt hurt because someone doesn't agree with you...

Like I said before, there's ways the Steelers can win, there are more ways the Packers win. The Packers match up against the Steelers very well.

You respond like that, and I'M the one who's butt hurt?

I wouldn't say anything if this wasn't standard issue for you, but you haven't shown much faith in this team all season. All anyone has to do is look up your own posts, especially in the Gameday threads. Negative post after negative post. That is your right, of course, but you should also expect someone to call you out for it. And as far as the Packers matching up very well against the Steelers...well, you said the same thing about the Jets 2 weeks ago, and look what happened? On paper you can say they match up well, and I'd agree with that. But the game isn't played on paper. I believe the Steelers are the better team all around, and they will prove it Sunday night.

How's my post butt hurt? lol...just responding to you're whining about my "lack of faith."

During the game day threads, you just have to call them like you see them...lol. When they play like shit on a series, they play like shit on a series. I guess when I called the Ravens punt return for a TD and nailed it, I was being negative or maybe feeling it? When I called the Santonio Holmes TD, was I being negative or maybe feeling it? When I said the Steelers were garbage in the second half of the Jets games, I was wrong? lol...

I give credit when credit is due. I'll call them out when they play like shit. If I don't think they match up well with a team, I'll predict it the way I see it. Does it mean I lack faith? Nah...just making a prediction the way I see it. If I'm wrong...great...I'm wrong. No one would be happier. If I'm right, no one would be more upset about it.

Enjoy the game.

Yep, sure do. If there's OT and the receiving team scores a fg on the opening possession then they have to kick and the opposing team has a chance to answer back. If the receiving team scores a TD, it's over.

This game is not going to be won on paper. The older I get and the more I follow the game I realize that attitude of toughness and faith far outweighs talent and skill. I would agree the packers are on paper a tough matchup but the mental toughness and self confidence of Ben plus the overall toughness of the Steelers gives them the edge. Add the experience of the Super Bowl.

Steelers 37 Packers 24.

34-23 Steelers In the spirit of Mike Holmgren,Packers claim foul (They are in the NFC,it's what they do), Rogers gets sacked by Harrison and Woodley, when trainers arrive... all he will answer is, "The Krispy Kreme Donuts light is on! Come on, I'm buying!",and is knocked out of the game.Green Bay Police close off and deny access to Ray Nitschke Memorial Bridge for fear Packers fans will jump. Book It.
