[/URL]Packers and Steelers each have 13 players on their rosters who weigh 300 lbs or more. In 1980, there were only 3 in the entire league.

You'd have also been hard pressed to find an offensive or defensive lineman who looked like they were smuggling a basketball around under their jersey in 1980. Now? Not so much. More like better football through the all-you-can-eat buffet line.

Interesting how 275 was considered heavy for a Defensive Tackle back then. Now anything under 300 is considered light for that position.

Yep. Webster, Kolb, etc. were all around 260. Even "Fats" Holmes was only 260. :lol:
If Kemo is at 344, he needs to lose some weight.

Sadly many of these men will never live to see 60. I wish there was some way that we could return to the days of the sub 300 pound interior lineman.
