Eminem is back to doing what he loves — bashing on people. He must be tired of dissing entertainers (Mariah, Christina Aguilera, and Michael Jackson) because his latest victim is an NFL player. The Steelers’ quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was suspended for six games by the league commissioner after being accused of sexual assault (by a 20-year-old college student) is the newest person of interest in Em’s war of words.

Eminem attacks the quarterback with a song entitled “Despicable” by way of these lyrics:

“I’d rather turn this club into a bar room brawl. Get as rowdy as Roethlisberger in a bathroom stall.”
For some reason, the rapper makes it his job to broadcast other people’s problems. This isn’t the first time that the star quarterback has gotten into this kind of trouble. Now, that Eminem has put Roethlisberger’s “legal issue” in a song, more people will find out about it, creating even more problems for the NFL player.

The song won’t be featured on Eminem’s new album Recovery (set for release on June 22), but it is available on a website co-founded by his manager. Give “Despicable” a listen below and tell us what you think…

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In addition to Eminem's song Despicable, he bashes Big Ben in his song "Almost Famous" which WILL be included in his new album Recovery. In Almost Famous, Eminem opens up the song with the following lyrics:

I stuck my **** in this game like a rapist, they call me Slim Roethlisberger, I go berserker than a fed-up post-office worker

I think this is really uncalled for and it's only going to bring even more attention to Ben's troubles while he tries to change around his life.

Why bother starting a thread with this kind of nonsensical tripe

This as been Eminem's MO for most of his career. Most of his music is about pop culture blounders. I view a lot of his "songs" more as parodies than anything else. A bit Weird Al like in my opinion.

those 2 lyrics are a far cry from "bashing ben". if anything, M&M can empathize with bens situation.

Thats right! No one can pick on our franchise QB but us. We may want to strangle him sometimes, but he's ours...now if he screws up again...well were probably going to kick him out of the family...but until that day, he's ours!

i agree. I dont see this as bashing at all. Em uses alot of pop culture in his music, and, like it or not, Bens issues are well publicized and talked about by everyone

Mr. White Trash can talk all he wants against Ben. I say the more against him the more motivation to go out and have a great season!

I could care less what anyone from the music industry or Holleywood has to say. They can't even manage their own lives.

Not everyone can do it so i'd have to say it takes talent.

Heavy metal with constant screaming, now that takes no talent.

You people act like eminem offended you

Lighten up, its FUNNY

I am a fan if Eminem.

Also, Ben brought this attention on himself by being a jackass.

BINGO.

I'm with the majority here - who gives a rat's ass what this jackwad thinks of Ben? Ben is the only one in control of his destiny and I'm hoping beyond hope that he turns his life around for HIS benefit and no one else's.

I think if you're going to paint with that broad of a brush, then you might as well include the entire music industry...both statements would be equally as ignorant.
