The governor will be paying for his own way to the game in Arlington, Texas, including tickets and the flight, according to Kirsten Page, his spokeswoman. She said the travel plans do not include use of the state plane.

The Steelers organization has made Super Bowl tickets available for sale at face value to the state’s top politicians in the past, but Page did not respond to a question about whether that is how Corbett obtained his tickets.

Corbett also is working on a bet with his fellow Republican Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin, she said. The details haven’t been set.

The state’s new governor won a basket of goodies in a wager with New York’s Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo when the Steelers whipped the New York Jets in the AFC title game.

Corbett has designated his new digs at the Governor’s Residence as “Steeler’s Country.”

PREDICTION: Corbett thinks the Steelers are in for a nail biter against the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XLV. His prediction: Steelers 31, Packers 28.

Well they're not very good at it. I still don't see a New York landmark being draped by a Terrible Towel.
