Ok, I have been wondering what can be done to keep Hines Ward from retiring if we win this SB.

I think I have it.

A great big advertisement in the Newspaper- above the fold if we can get it.

Hines Ward: Do you really think 13 seasons is enough to make us forget you weren't drafted until the THIRD round?

My guess is, that move alone will keep Ward in a uniform another 3-5 years-and maybe his best 3 years of his career. :chuckle:

We can only hope that he stays a while longer.

IMO I think Ward will retire if he wins this SB, If they lose I think he will get it one or two more emotional years to try and win #3 for him.

As much as it would hurt to see Ward retire after this season knowing he has plenty of play left in him, I want him to go out on top.

Brilliant!

Really, at this juncture (:chuckle:) win or lose I want one more year, at least, of him teaching the young guys. I love the three of them, but another year of Hines wouldn't hurt them

Even if there's not a lot of gas left in the tank, we need Ward to come back and continue to mentor the Young Money Crew (can't believe I just said that). Wallace, Sanders, and Brown are all coming into their own but they remain young, slightly immature, and unpolished. If Ward leaves, who are they gonna look to for guidance on the field? Heath? We NEED Ward for at least one more season. I know he's got it in him.

He should stay for at least one more year.....four rings are better than three!

He's not retiring, he's coming back to get his 1000. He might hem and haw for a while, but he'll be back in the fold long before training camp.

Repeal the "Hines Ward Rule"

(we all know this won't happen in Goodhell's NFL)
