Quotes: "Well were bound to face a rapist at QB in the SB..."

"Who do you guys want to face? I say Pitt, I want revenge for last year"

"I hope the Packers are ready for a street brawl and dont get sucked up in the glitz, lights and cameras. The Steelers will come in there looking to smack the Packers hard in the mouth, with blatant cheapshots and late hits. Its the game they play, and I hope the Packers are ready for it. "

"I didnt want to face the Jets, they shut us down. Last year the Steelers barely stopped us."

This is what *some* Packers fans are saying. Every fan base has it's bad apples and we're no exception. Most Packer backers I've talked to have been classy.

If we win, I hope it's by at least 3 scores - I don't really want to hear the whining and crying again about how the refs "handed us another one." :coffee:

Any comments on this one my Fellow Steelers fans?

Packers showed up in Mincamp...dressed as Cowboys...cause they "knew" they were going to Texas for the Super Bowl...

Wasn't Ryan Clark out of that game too?

Edit: Never mind, he did play in that game. But Carter is horrible and Burnett played a lot.

Going to Texas. They accomplished that. WINNING in Texas? Ain't gonna happen.

Yeah but its not like the Packers are a bunch of Humble guys...with that Championship Belt crap Rodgers always pulls, the "we'll go meet the president" by Woodson and the fact they were dressing up as cowboys before the season...they are an arrogant bunch of jackholes in my mind. I hope we CRUSH THEIR DREAMS!!!!

The similiarities between the allegations between Ben and what happened here are striking, yet no one in the national media has the integrity or courage to say so. Basically the major difference between the two cases as far as I can see see is that in the Green Bay case the officers, even before the results of the medical examintion were known, determined due to a lack of consistency in the accusers stories from the very outset that they in fact lacked validity, and therefore weren't worth pursueing and subsequently damaging the reputation of the accused Packer players.

Whereas in Ben's case, despite a clear lack of consistency in the accusers story right from the outset, despite no physical evidence coming to light after a throughough rape kit was proccessed soon after the alleged crime, the Podunk DA went out of his way to make Ben look bad.

The difference in perception in these cases is the difference between one jurisdidiction doing their job correctly in protecting the rights of all involved parties and one not.:frusty:

You know we'll hear the same stuff no matter what the outcome. Heck, we could lose by 3 scores and there will still be fans saying, "The Packers won despite the refs helping the Steelers!"

Dressing up like cowboys....this is the Super Bowl, not the Fruit Bowl.
