Tom Brady is almost a lock for the NFL MVP award this year. Peyton Manning is a Hall of Famer and 4-time NFL MVP. Both will be hope this weekend wishing they could be playing in the AFC Title Game.

Which leads us to another signal caller this weekend who FINALLY seems to be getting some credit for getting his team back to the AFC Championship. Yes, it’s finally time people start realizing that Ben Roethlisberger is one of, if not THEE top QB in the NFL.

Sure, take your Drew Brees, your Aaron Rodgers, and anyone else for that matter in the NFC. the bottom line is that the best three throwers in the NFL reside in the AFC, and there’s a very real case to be made that the best one plays in Pittsburgh.........

Totally agree. It's about time Ben gets his due in the NFL!!!!! He may have been a bad boy off the field, but wait LT is in the Hall of fame and look what he did. You gotta love Ben on the field!!!!

Ben is one of the top QB's in the NFL. Unfortunately, the Steelers aura of run the ball and play strong defense will always overshadow him in the eyes of most of the national media.

The way they talk about Marsha Brady, you'd think he did everything in those three Super Bowl wins. Tackle, intercept, catch the ball, and kick the three game winning field goals.

No Thanks. Keep the Brady, Manning talk to yourselves. I'll take the "disrespected" Ben and all his wins.

Ben will never get the accolades he deserves simply because he is not as consistent as others are perceived to be. Ben has bad quarters, bad halfs, etc. Others, rightly or wrongly, are not perceived to have them.

More importantly however, like Elway, Ben morphs into a defense killer the last few minutes of a half or game. Yes, some may say that is because of the prevent defense. But not every team goes to prevent against us and Ben still moves the ball.

"Elite QB" and "Best Ever" and "Best Current" arguments are all about the pure passer. That isn't Ben.

Now, if you want to talk about the Best QB in the league to put up a W at the end of the day, THAT is Ben-and that SHOULD BE what is meant by elite. Sadly, it isn't.

Ben said himself he doesnt play to be the MVP. He plays to win games but when hes winning championships on the side hes become the most feared QB in the league

You'd never see Ben throw a tantrum after a play.
