We got 6" of snow here last night in the Burgh and preliminarily, our forecast for Sunday calls for some morning snow showers with a high of 18 degrees. By game time, it should be around 12-13 degrees. Winds are supposed to be around 10 mph.

If going to the game - please bundle up and dress in layers. I'm going to enjoy the game from my comfy, warm living room. :heh:

GO STEELERS! :tt02:

tough kicking for FGs in those conditions. so much for a "tight" FG type game. Gonna have to put up 7 points on all the redzone visits.

Cold beer, warm livingroom.

Exactly, but for me - without the beer. I'll be enjoying a nice hot vanilla chai (or 2 or 3). :drink: Though I enjoy winter and the snow, the older I get, the less I enjoy sitting out in 18 degree weather with a -2 wind chill. :horror:

Screw that man. When I went to the Raiders game this year it was pretty warm, like 55 or 60. I couldn't imagine sitting there fro 4 or more hours with it being that cold. I went to a Panthers game last year and it was like 30, the coldest home game in Panthers history. I was fine until like halftime but was freezing by the 4th quarter.

The coldest games I've been to were the Jets game this year on December 19th and the Chargers game on November 16th, 2008. I have never been so cold in my life. But to experience the Steelers live with the greatest fans in the world, it's well worth it.

I'm with you buddy. It freaks me out when my hair freezes! :horror: At least at home, I can go to the potty whenever I choose, get all of the eats and drinks I want without waiting in a long line and I don't have to deal with drunks! :yay3: Plus - as an added bonus - if I don't like what the announcers are saying, I can whap 'em with my slipper! :applaudit:

Went to the Raiders game lat year. Was a popsicle by the end of the game. The loss made me feel ten times colder.

Our last game at Heinz Field was the Dallas night game a few years ago (7F at game time), now we are coming down tomorrow to this...

Kinda funny my wife turned down a week at an all inclusive resort in the Caribbean in exchange for 2nd row endzone seats to this game...gotta love the commitment to STEELERS NATION

Not to be a Debby Downer, but we sucked the last time we played in a game this cold. (Cleveland, anyone?)

The motivation in this game is eons beyond that one...but still...brrrrrrrrr.

Forecast changed slightly - the high for tomorrow is supposed to be 16 degrees instead of 18. :heh: Game time temp should be right around 8-9 degrees.

A quick prayer for the soldiers going into battle, and the nation they represent?

It is destruction, disruption, distinct and instinctive
It is desire, design, delight, and it links us
It is hope, it is hatred, it is hell unleashed
It is the fire in the belly in the baddest of the beasts
It is the ruthlessness within us that takes no mercy
It is the blade against the neck pressing in with fury
It is broken bones and bleeding souls connecting at once
It is forgetting individuals and embracing any difference
It is the very element that lets sport's destiny unfold
It is the union of actor and audience for the black and gold
It is what it is and it always was
And now, my friends, it has come upon us.

Watch out New York.

I think I would much rather attend a cold game rather than a hot game. I went to the game vs. the Seahawks in '07 when the game time temp was 95 degrees, in October no less. That was just brutal. At least in a cold game, you can layer up.

It's not too bad right now here in the Burgh - temp. around 16 degrees and little wind.
