PITTSBURGH — On their way to the AFC Championship Game, the New York Jets beat Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. If you're wondering how Ben Roethlisberger can pull off what that dynamic duo couldn't, so is Roethlisberger. At least publicly.

"The difference between Ben and the other guys is Ben can escape some of those blitzes, and it puts their corners and their secondary ... in a bind because they have to cover as long," Ward said.

Ben also doesn't start to cower like a little bitch and begin to hear footsteps that aren't there and throw the ball away when he gets hit.

... hahahahha ... brady definitely looked shaky out there once he got hit once or twice! ...

Emmanuel Sanders (seven catches for 78 yards vs. the Jets in December) and Antonio Brown (http://content.usatoday.com/topics/topic/Antonio+Brown) (key 58-yard catch vs. the Ravens last weekend) could be big contributors, along with tight end Heath Miller (http://content.usatoday.com/topics/topic/People/Athletes/NFL/Heath+Miller)

... this is where the jets have been most vulnerable throughout the season ... i'll take revis and cro matchups ... but we've been vulnerable to #3 & #4 wr's ... and the te ... the jets did a good job here against new england ... so hopefully some of the extra db's have picked their games up a bit ... but if i were tomlin ... this is the area i'd try to exploit ...

Rashard Mendenhall ran for 99 yards in the loss to the Jets.

... this was a big deal on our jets boards ... initially he was credited with 100 yards ... as our D had not had a 100 yard rusher against them all season ... once they NFL offices reviewed the game they took a yard away from him for that run he had in which you guys only got 9 yards but the refs awarded you the 1st down anyway near the end of our game ...
