Galax Steeler

PITTSBURGH - Prophecy fulfilled.
When the Jets defeated the Steelers, 22-17, Dec. 19 at Heinz Field, coaches Rex Ryan of New York and Mike Tomlin of Pittsburgh met at midfield, with both men telling the other in good-natured fashion that they would meet again in the playoffs.
But when New York entered the playoffs as sixth seed in the AFC, that seemed improbable.
The only way the Steelers, the No. 2 seed, would see the Jets again would be in the AFC Championship, a scenario that seemed highly unlikely considering the Jets would have to win two games, including one at New England.
