Dewayne White, who's played seven NFL seasons, most recently with the Lions (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/detroit-lions), was selected No. 1 overall by the expansion Omaha Nighthawks in the 2010 UFL Draft on Wednesday night.

The draft consisted of 12 rounds, with each of the five UFL franchises receiving one pick per round for a total of 60 selections. After White, several other recognizable names were called, including: Chike Okeafor (No. 6 overall -- Omaha), a 10-year NFL vet; Shawn Andrews (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/players/shawn-andrews/6775) (No. 11 -- Omaha), a member of the Eagles (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/philadelphia-eagles) from 2004-09; ex-Oakland WR Ronald Curry (No. 26 --Omaha) and ex-Bengals (http://nfl.fanhouse.com/team/cincinnati-bengals) WR Antonio Chatman (No. 28 -- Sacramento); DeMarcus Faggins (No. 35 -- Omaha), who played two games for Detroit in 2009 after seven seasons with Houston; and Frank Walker (No. 47 -- Omaha), who spent the past two seasons with Baltimore.

Sad to see how far Shawn Andrews has fallen. He had the makings to be considered one of the great NFL guards.

Glad to see alot of NFL guys still playing. With Daunte Culpepper and Ahman Green joining the UFL they are getting alot of good and postive attention.
