Three things to know about next Sunday's New York Jets-Pittsburgh Steelers AFC Championship Game:

1. The road to the Super Bowl now goes through Pittsburgh. The Steelers caught a break Sunday night with the Jets' upset win over the New England Patriots. Pittsburgh, the AFC's No. 2 seed, will host the conference title game for the second time in three years. The Steelers said Saturday night that they were confident regardless of the the opponent. But playing at home in the postseason is always a preference, and the Patriots and quarterback Tom Brady have had Pittsburgh's number in recent years. ...............

Tom Jackosn on ESPN first sounds like he is at a funeral when going over the highlights of the Jets/Pats game. Then he comes out and closes by saying that the Steelers have an opportunity to go to their third Super Bowl in just a few short years without having to go through the Pats who many consider to be the best team of the decade. What an idiot.

One industry that needs a recession is sports analysts. Seriously, get rid of 3/4 of these talking heads and report on real stories instead of the same story being told fifty times. And it would be nice if they were truly objective.

I'll have to do a JETS WEEK AFC TITLE GAME EDITION here soon...

but real quick...stuff their run, pressure sanchez into mistakes, run the ball down their throat and hit big plays against their over agressive corners really really really deep.

Pittsburgh will do something that the patriots could not do, smack sanchez in the mouth. sanchez was to comfortible, was he ever forced out of the pocket?. It will be a different story next week.

You can tell Jackson dislikes the Steelers. When he was reviewing the Steelers Ravens game he said the Ravens handed the game to the Steelers, as if the Steelers did nothing to earn it.

Eh, that's pretty much what a lot of the "sports heads" are saying. It's ok, we'll show 'em.

Definitely

their right tackle is gone for the season, so I expect woodley to attack succesfully there

Ferguson on the left side is another story though Even silverback will have trouble there

Agreed. Tom Jackson, especially needs to retire. Just a bitter old fart because he couldn't win the big game.

Did anybody else catch Braylon Edwards doing backflips in the MIDDLE of the field right as the Jets took a knee? Wow...some class...

Yea, and a bunch of the players were flying around the field like Jets. They all looked like idiots. What I found really funny though was how Deion Branch was crying after the game about the Jets being "classless" after the game when it was Branch that was trash talking the Jets sideline all through the game when his team was losing.

damn, last time we played we couldn't get any pass rush going (just 1 sack and neither by woodley or harrison). qb pressure is key, we need to find a way to break through the jets offensive line
