Downtown rally has 'em buzzin' before big game

Amid a sea of Terrible Towels in the courtyard of the Allegheny County Courthouse on Friday, an ominous sign stuck out: a tombstone decorated with black and gold streamers, with a raven affixed to its base.

Beverly Bishop of West Mifflin took the tombstone to the "Ruin the Ravens Rally" Downtown to cheer on the Steelers -- and to predict the demise of their rivals, the Baltimore Ravens, in today's playoff game at 4:30 p.m.

"This is a funeral march," Ms. Bishop, 51, said. "The funeral starts at 4:30 tomorrow!"

Fans gathered outside the Terrible Tree, decorated with black-and-gold pennants, boas and signs, to support the team by waving Terrible Towels and chanting "Here we go, Steelers!"
