Allen expects Favre back as soon as training camp ends

Vikings defensive end Jared Allen said today that he believes quarterback Brett Favre will return to the team -- but that he'll wait until his teammates are done sweating through two-a-days.
Asked by Trey Wingo during an interview on NFL Live when he expects Favre to report to the Vikings, Allen answered, "What day do we break training camp?"
Allen was laughing as he talked about Favre, and seems OK with the fact that Favre gets to skip camp while everyone else has to go. But he did joke that he'd ask coach Brad Childress to let him go to Favre's hometown when training camp starts to get Favre to return to the team.
"I think I'm going to try to convince Brad, right about the start of training camp, to let me go out to Hattiesburg to try to convince Brett," Allen said.
