PITTSBURGH -- Steelers second-year receiver Mike Wallace (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=12601) said he's heard it all about playoff football from teammate and future Hall of the Famer Hines Ward (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=1494) this week.

"You know Hines is always ready to tell you a story," Wallace said with a smile.

At every chance during the bye, the 13-year veteran has been telling Wallace about the difference between the regular season and playoff football. Wallace, 24, is Pittsburgh's leading receiver and is playing at a Pro-Bowl level. But Wallace will make his postseason debut Saturday for the Steelers (12-4) against the Baltimore Ravens (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/bal/baltimore-ravens) (13-4).

Ward is doing everything he can to make sure the dynamic Wallace is ready for the increase in intensity, especially in this brutal rivalry with the Ravens. Wallace, as he has for two seasons, is a willing student and says he's soaking in Ward's wisdom.........

Couple of quick slants and a 40 yard bomb over Reed will do him just fine. How about 6 rec, and about 125 yards. Ward and Miller can take of the underneath middle to keep the safeties honest. Don't even run the football till the 3rd quarter. The Ravens secondary is weak.

i hope we have the opportunity go deep early but with ed reed back there i'm iffy about it. but ben is awesome with the play action so they might be able to pull one out because all wallace needs is a split second to allow him to separate

I have a good feeling about him having a good game against the secondary of the Ravens.

I have no worries at all about MW. This is a game for him to shine and shine he will. The Rats secondary (other than Reed) is not all that impressive and I strongly believe Ben and MW can torch 'em a couple of times for huge yardage and/or scores. I'd really like to see another Ben bomb to either MW or one of our other speedsters on the first drive like we saw in the game against the Browns. Make a statement on the first drive that Heinz Field is OUR HOUSE.

I have never been impressed with the Rat's secondary much this season and if Mike Wallace want's to start truly getting his name out there for being a big time up and coming player he needs to step it up big in the playoffs and def. this Saturday which I believe he will!
