Jim Colony caught up with Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey as the team prepares for a bye week.

Pouncey said he plans on resting this weekend. The only game he will probably be watching is the New York Jets-Indianapolis Colts game.

Colony and Pouncey also go more in depth about the rookie’s personal life. They talk about his tattoo art, as well as the steps Pouncey’s brother is taking to increase his NFL draft status.

Also, Steelers beat reporter Jon Burton caught up with linebacker James Harrison. He said the defense is working on some things that have troubled them this season.

Harrison had a definitive “NO” for Burton when asked if it matters who they will face next week. .............

"Schedules do not matter" Mike Tomlin before the 2008 season when the Steelers were confronted ad nauseum with the league's toughest schedule and considered especially brutal. The team went on to win XLIII.
