Troy Polamalu will be active for Steelers. Will evaluate him closely before and during game to determine how much PT he gets

Good news!!! I just hope he takes care of himself and doesn't make things worse. We need him for the playoffs.

Hope he doesn't push it, but he wouldn't be Troy if he didn't. Hopefully he won't reaggravate the injury.

Man I hope he doesn't play!

I think I would rather have Troy in the post season and no bye instead of a bye week and no Troy. What do you guys think?

If he plays and gets hurt, Tomlin is gonna get crucified for it.

Yep - the same way he did when Ben got hurt against the Browns 2 years ago at the end of the season. But then he'd get crucified if Troy sits and we lose too.

No he won't. It will be Arians fault. :heh:

if he is risking retweeking his injury by playing today then i'm not for him playing because we need him more in the playoffs than this week no matter if its a bye or playing next week. that being said, having troy in the lineup gives me a lot more confidence.

if he gets hurt it's definately on arians.

I don't like this at all. It is not worth the risk of not having him in the playoffs for him to play today. Like several of us have said, we have a better chance of winning 3 road games with Troy than 2 home games without Troy.....

haha.. I love it. When things go wrong.. just blame ARIANS.

There ya go! Doesn't matter if the D gives up the O's lead in the 4Q . . . doesn't matter if ST's allows returns for TD's . . . . doesn't matter that our OL basically sucks . . . . doesn't matter if Mendy fumbles or Ben throws a pick . . . . doesn't matter if Ass Chin ass prods our D - - - it's all Arians fault!

To get back on track here - I don't know how I feel yet about Troy playing. I hope they take him out if the Steelers get a comfy lead in the 2nd half.

I dunno guys, I'm a bit nervous about Troy playing today. Like someone said earlier, I'd rather have a healthier Troy and play on the road than no Troy and playing at home for the playoffs. I hope they monitor him very closely, perhaps just playing him on key third downs and situations.

I would rather have Troy sit out this game.

Keep him on the bench. When we win he gets 2 weeks more rest. IF we lose he gets one week of rest. Bottom line he gets more rest and he will be put to better use when he is truly needed. Just saying.

Well shit, an interception on the 2nd play. Imagine if Troy was healthy the entire season.

Defensive MVP?

Troy, James Harrison, Cameron Wake, Clay Matthews, Ed Reed, Tamba Hali. Stiff competition. I think missing a couple of games really knocked his chances down :(

Then it's a good thing that all of us care about the award more than he does. I'm sure he's rather the team bring home the win from Dallas.
