PITTSBURGH (KDKA/AP) – After being honored by his teammates earlier this week, Steelers safety Troy Polamalu has now practiced for the first time in three weeks.

The development leaves his status for the Steelers game in Cleveland on Sunday uncertain.

Polamalu has missed the last two games with a right Achilles’ tendon injury.
The team’s medical staff says they want to see how he responds to Friday’s practice before deciding whether he can play Sunday................

Well, they said a couple days ago that the decision will be made Friday whether or not he plays, so here it comes...

i say sit him for the playoff no need to have him play if there is a chance of a setback

If cleared to play, rather not see him play unless absolutely necessary.

He should not play rest another week or two and then get ready to play.

Same here. I still say sit him. Sit anybody with an injury that even *might* be aggravated tomorrow. I'd rather be a healthy 6 seed than an injured 2 seed.
