The Panthers came to Heinz to play on Thursday night
This game was never really even a fight
The Panthers first drive took them into Steelers territory
But there’s not much to tell for the rest of their story
The first play from scrimmage for the Steelers began
With the ball to Mendenhall and for 35 yards he ran
The drive ended in a challenge if Sanders scored
But Suisham still put points on the board
It just got worse when McFadden intercepted the ball
Soon Mike Wallace scored as he outran them all
Ben fumbled the ball and the Panthers tried their best
But this drive ended with a punt like all the rest
Right before the half the Steelers went on a scoring spree
A Mendenhall touch down and a field goal for three
Suisham would kick another but it went wide right
No one is perfect - we could forgive him tonight
For once it’s nice to have a game that’s a little bit boring
In mid 3rd quarter Ben joined in on the scoring
Finally the Panthers who were getting beat into submission
Were able to score a field goal after great field position
A shutout would have been nice there is no doubt
But giving is what the Christmas season is about
Merry Christmas Steeler Nation - fans of Black and Gold
Hopefully soon it’s another AFC North Title we will hold
One more regular season game to go this year
That means playoff football will soon be here
The Steelers will play the Browns in the city by the lake
This is a must win for us - 2nd seed is at stake
Beating the Ravens for us was something you just couldn’t do
Now we’re coming to Cleveland and we’ll beat you too
