Free safety Ryan Clark hadn’t been happy with the defense after the Steelers had lost a hard-fought, 22-17 decision to the Jets and he still wasn’t thrilled following Thursday night’s 27-3 demolition of the Panthers.

Clark isn’t the Grinch Who Stole the Thrill of Victory. He just has high standards.

I love ya to pieces, Ryan, but you got the W which is what really counts.

If you really insist on getting a shutout, how about a few of those in the playoffs? ;)

Got to agree with ya. The playoffs are the perfect place to pitch a shutout. I would like to see 4 of them in a row form this point.

I'm thrilled that we beat them exactly like a good team should beat a bad team. And Christmas sure is a lot more fun after we come off a win!!! One down..........one to go!!

blame the offense. They went vanilla and started running a prevent offense.

It wasn't the defenses' fault, Ben takes a sack at the 1 then their punt returner breaks a bunch of tackles to inside the 25.

Yeah, If I recall right, that field goal was the result have handing them primo field position. The D kept them out of the end zone. They did their job. A turnover would have been nice but our interception king had sweatpants on.

It's hard to maintain a shutout when the opposing team returns a punt to your 26 yard line. In either case, they kept them out of the endzone, which is an accomplishment in and of itself.

Good thing Ryan doesn't post on this board. He'd get flamed for being too critical.

A WIN IS A WIN DAMN IT!
