Article:

After his party’s midterm losses and with the unemployment rate still hovering around 10 percent, President Barack Obama might be down.

But he’s far from out — especially when it comes to his prospects for re-election in 2012.

That’s the conclusion from the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, which finds that the president’s job approval rating has once again hit its lowest level; that more people believe the nation is on the wrong track than at any point in Obama’s presidency; and that just a third of Americans think the economy will rebound next year.

Yet the survey also shows Obama comfortably leading prominent Republicans like former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin in hypothetical head-to-head match-ups for 2012.

It doesnt matter how bad he screws things up, there is a very large group of people that will stick with him regardless of what he does. And they will come out in full force in 2012. I think if Romney or Palin get the nomination then Obama gets 4 more years in office. Im still waiting for the relatively unknown to make his appearance and challenge Obama, I dont think the republicans can beat him with who they have now.

As long as the Independents who voted for him continue to fall away from him as they have been doing, I like the GOP chances in 2012 no matter who they run against Obaaaaaama. I still believe him to be a one and done'r.

That is because the far lefties in the media have covered up how much of a failure he really is and his ties to left-wing revolutionaries. If the media had exposed the truth about him he would be below 30% approval and be trailing double-digits behind every GOP challenger

If Palin gets elected for Prez, I think I'll just shoot myself before I have to listen to 4 years of that screechy voice & it will sadly be confirmed that the American people are a bunch of idiots.

Perhaps the many people who voted for Obama should finally admit they made a big mistake

I'm not really concerned whether Obama gets another term so long as the new batch of Republicans in Congress do what they're supposed to.

The funny thing about the Obama election is that.......folks who never voted, were bussed in and every effort to make sure he was elected was taken. Didn't matter what he stood for. I actually heard several folks in line say this while we were voting. Blows your mind. Sad part is, if Obama fails we all STILL lose.:uhoh:

Republic ticket is Shit right now. I agree with beSteelmyheart about Palin. To much of that voice can send anyone over the edge.

it will sadly be confirmed that the American people are a bunch of idiots.

That already happened in the 2008 Presidential election when they put Bozo the Clown into office.
