You cant hate that him for being traded.
The Question is what will be the best defense against him?

Mcfadden plays so soft in coverage he will be a nightmare underneath all day.
Gay = no Way
Or does Ike ask for the assignment?

Braylon edwards may burn mcfadden, but he'll drop it anyway

Have an ounce of chronic in his locker waiting for him, and he'll drop the ball whenever it's thrown his way.

Ike should cover him, although in that case Jerricho Cotchery will burn burn MMcFadden

We willn't have to cover him if he keeps dropping balls in the endzone like he did yesterday... lol

I picked Gay because it was the closest choice to "Tom Brady is gay." When will members here learn how to post a proper poll?:noidea::pout::wink02:

I doubt we will have any one person cover him. It will likely be dependent on where he matches up. It's not about the man coverage anyway. It's about what he does after the catch. Gotta tackle well, have to wrap him up. We know what he can do when he gets some space.

Sorry, I just clicked on "Gay" without reading the question. That's about what I think of his return.

Hopefully we get "Bongtonio Holmes" and not "Super Bowl MVP Holmes".

Ike's gotta be on him, Holmes is by far the best they've got as a receiving weapon (although Keller is going to be a pain in the ass underneath). Normally I wouldnt be afraid of Greene and LT, but the Pats really gashed us on the ground because they emptied the clip on us with their passing attack. And the Jets can do that to us, even with Sanchez under center because our cornerbacks are heavily overmatched by the Jets receivers: Santonio Holmes, Braylon Edwards, and Jerricho Cotchery vs. Ike Taylor and....McFadden and Gay??? Not to mention, Coles might be at the Jets' disposal (although I've heard he's there for motivational purposes like the Saints did with McCallister in the playoffs last year)

And again, Keller will be a pain in the side. He and LT have been Sanchez's favorite targets. Running the ball, short/intermediate throws to LT/Keller, and vertical attacks with Santonio and Edwards is going to be a hell of a match up for our defense. Tack on the 2 humiliating losses they've faced the last 2 weeks. They are hungry for a win.

They will not go easy ladies and gentlemen.

I say put Ike on him that will be our best option.

Who ever it is they need to jam him at the line. Precise routes(that slant!) and timing need to be disrupted.

Just have to pressure sanchez. If we can do that we can cover him with anyone.

I don't care who covers him as long as we jam him coming off the line - and Harrison delivers one of the early game jams.

This one's a no-brainer. Ike.

Ike, duh!

And I expect to see Polamalu doing a lot of roaming the field because of the options of Holmes/Edwards/Tomlinson/Keller. Just let Troy read Sanchez's eyes.

Couple that with the pressure we'll be getting on Sanchez (Woody is out for the season), and I don't think this game will be as difficult as people think.

I loved Santonio as a player, but long term, I like Wallace better.

I think we are 3 deep with young WR's right now, which is huge. All with speed and a ton of upside.

Santonio will always have a soft spot in my heart though because of that Super Bowl catch. He may not be that bright, but I can't hate the guy.

The BEST defense that we have against Bongtonio is an All-out, Balls-to-the-Wall on every play, STRONG Pass Rush to get and stay in Sanchez's face. He's been sucking lately and he needs to contiinue to suck.
