That was as good a catch as I've seen since SB X.

I liked that little wildcat package they had for him too.

That catch was the closest thing I have seen to a Polamalu INT.

That was a spectacular catch. Good to see the WRs in fine form today, but our O in general needs to get in a groove. Penalties ending good drives, sacks are inopportune times, blown blocking assignments on the O line.

Yea. That gave me a Lynn Swann flashback as well...

I was thinking he looked like Swanny too.

What a great catch that was if he had not caught that ball it was going to be intercepted nice catch.

One of the several "Wow" moments of the game for me.

El's catch was a thing of beauty! :applaudit: He was Swann-like and made the big play that kept the drive alive. I know people poke fun at him because of his love of fair catches, but the guy's still got it and besides, I love the trick play options he brings to the team. I was happy to get him back here and yesterday's acrobatic catch was just one more reason why. :tt02:

yeah, but where are all the whiners complaining that he fair catches every punt he gets?? The guys has always had great hands.

Ugly win where our defense put up more points than our offense. Take the W and lets hope we can stay healthy and win out towards a top seed.

That is what you get when you put a fire under his butt and send him down the depth chart, especially when a rookie passes him up on the way up. The catch was sublime. ARE may not be as good as he used to be, but he can be good once as he ever was.

That wildcat is good for a jump start much like the 2 minute offense can be used to get the O moving.

ARE really looked like he was jumping up for a basketball.

That Randle El made a great catch doesn't take away from the fact that he's been a sub par punt returner this year. Also in case you haven't noticed the coaching staff has obviously come to the same conclusion as it clear that Brown and Sanders are taking more and more of the punt return duty, and even sometimes in short field situations. He's also been dropped from being the 3rd wr to the 4th, and in some cases even the 5th. Not our doing, that's the coaches.

We all love Randle El, we appreciate what he's done for this team in the past. We also know that he possesses intangibles that make him still have some value to a team. But his time is near the end. And when his role was greater than it is now, it was a source of some frustration to many of us. I'm not taking anything back because of one great catch.

The catch was very similar to the pick Troy made against the Titans. It's funny because that is precisely the first thing I thought of when I saw it live.

He does fair catch every punt he gets so what's your point? Just because ARE made a great catch doesn't mean that he's a great player. At this point in his career, he's good for maybe 1 or 2 decent plays a game. It's time for him to step aside and let the young guys take over. Thankfully the coaching staff has realized this.

He has good hands. It was a great catch. But, he is not as explosive as he once was. Sure, he brings some trick play capability, and we may use that in the playoffs but other than that, he is no longer a #3 WR w/the 2 rookies now ahead of him.

Randle El made #2 in this week's top 5 catches on nfl.com. Of course they gave #1 to a Patriot and Randle El's catch was better.

That was an amazing catch. Screamed when he caught it, screamed like a little girl. :chuckle:
