Do not be quick to blame cornerback Bryant McFadden for everything.

While opposing teams have chosen to target his side for a lot of pass attempts, McFadden is not always the culprit for some of the long passes that have nearly cost the Steelers the past couple games.

And he even made one of the big plays in the 13-10 victory against the Ravens Sunday night that likely went undetected.

McFadden and the Steelers secondary will need plenty of big plays today against the Cincinnati Bengals, especially after the problems wide receiver Terrell Owens caused them last month in the first meeting in Paul Brown Stadium................

Chip T.O. at the line a couple of times and he will fade into the background. Time to get tough and take advantage of opportunities to put them away early.

I'm not quick to place blame on any one individual player or coach when the game turns. It is a collective effort (or lack of) imho. BMac is going to have one helluva difficult job today containing TO but the key to not getting burned by him or that buffoon on the other side of the field is pressure, pressure, pressure on Cartoon. I think we can all agree that we aren't going to totally stop them from catching a few passes but if the Steelers D can consistently get in Cartoon's puss there is a good chance he will "bungle" and have to dump off short passes and screens which the Steelers will be ready for. I don't want to see pressure the first half and not the second - I want to see it the entire game. The Bungles are coming into the Burgh with a huge chip on their shoulders and this game, to them, is their Super Bowl.

Forget chipping him, let's go old school chucking him at the line!

Let's help we're better prepared for the variety of spots on the field Owens can line up in. We apparently weren't last time. That's how you find yourself in a situation where William Gay is one on one with him.
