What exactly do we need a WR for?

It's not the fact that he is a WR, but that he is a CANADIAN, eh. Sushi kicking, Fantuz catching, SB #7 would surely be ours.:whoo::wink02:

Ahh, yes. Of course. The perfect formula for success. :chuckle:

Fantuz and Sweed! We could have the coolest named wide receivers in the league :chuckle:

I wouldn't mind him signed in february to a future contract, but by then the vikings would have signed him already

No, I don't want him to take the place of ARE's fair catching duties.

Meh.. we're pretty set at the WR position. Unless this guy's the next Jerry Rice.

Hey some of those tackles looked like football tackles. There should have been fines and penalties.

I dont think you guys get that it's not about filling a need, rather it's about unleashing a potential breakout star. Quality over quantity.

Of course, this fella still is a longshot to make it anywhere in the NFL with success...

He has an entire series of video blogs on youtube if anyone cares.

And some statistics and information from the official Saskatchewan Rough Riders' website: http://www.riderville.com/roster/show/id/580

Eh. That game looks like it's being played at 80% of the speed and size of the NFL. I'm sure he's decent, but I'm OK with what we have right now.

Remember that guy Grisham that we brought in for no reason at the end of last year? Same idea.

I am all for it if they think we need him.

No, I don't want him to take the place of ARE's fair catching duties.

El adds that extra "QB" dimension to a game and that's the biggest reason I'd like him to stay here.

I'm on board with a few others here - why do we need another WR? If he was a CB or an OLman, I'd be ecstatic.

Stop gap since Miller is out. How about some OL for depth?

I can't think of anybody that does it better.

6'4 221 lbs...4.52 forty....Tried out for the Lions but was not offered a contract. Took him a couple of years after that tryout to polish his game in the CFL.

I would be more intriqued if this was May or June of 2011.

Judging by the video he looks like he has good hands but looks kind of slow all around especially coming out of his breaks.

It's just a workout, guys. He has pretty rare measurables so he's worth taking a look. Especially when we've shown interest in CFL'ers Stefan Logan, Cameron Wake, and Renauld Williams.

It's just like when we worked out QBs early in the year. Guys we can get a look at in the offseason if we won't to offer a futures contract and players to have on speed dial in case of injury.

Hey Sushi can punt AND kick. Maybe the Steelers aren't saying that he could be used as a CB. I mean 6'4", sure would be nice back there. :sarcasm:

Can somebody tell me why we don't need another wr??? This guy looks better than Randel El.....lol....

Perhaps we should be reading something from this. Perhaps one of the reasons we pick on Arians is that his WR are not running his patterns properly and getting open before Ben has to take a hammering. Perhaps our coaches are telling us that there is a problem with our WR crew. Just thinking out loud.
