The Washington Redskins may have voted Albert Haynesworth out for good.

The team suspended the defensive lineman, a lightning rod for controversy all season, without pay for the final four games of the season.

With a 5-7 record, there's little chance the Redskins will reach the postseason, so Haynesworth may have played his final game for the Burgundy and Gold less than two years after signing a seven-year, $100 million contract with $41 million guaranteed in 2009.

Albert Haynesworth has 6.5 sacks in two years with the Redskins.

"Despite the club's numerous attempts to persuade Albert Haynesworth to abide by the terms of his contract, he has repeatedly refused to cooperate with our coaching staff in a variety of ways over an extended period of time," Redskins coach Mike Shanahan said in a statement released by the team Tuesday.

Haynesworth is a hot-headed jackass with an ego almost as big as his ass. His teammates are sick of his arrogance, drama and ignorance, as well. Danny Boy Snyder will make Shanny do all of his dirty work because he's afraid Haynesworth will eat 'im. :heh:

I think Albert forgot he gets paid 100 million to play football, not to just be Albert Haynesworth.

He is very likely deign permanent damage to his career earning potential, so I hope 100 million was enough.

Haynesworth is a waste of oxygen. He was upset because he didn't want to play in a 3-4 defense. Last I checked, he was being paid a boatload of money to play football for the Washington Redksins, and unless it was in his contract that he didn't have to play in a 3-4 then boo-fucking-hoo.

Hopefully Danny Boy will step back and let the team of Shannahan and Bruce Allen.

Naaa, I doubt it. Some other ignorant asshole will likely throw a boat load of money at him in a year or two. Probably Jones.
