Yeah I know he didn't have a very good game last night, and yes 1000 yards doesn't have the same cache it once did, but still 1000 yards in only 12 games is pretty damn good. So hopefully last night was just a little hiccup and Mendy will get back to the great season he's been having starting next Sunday vs. Cincy. :applaudit:

Grats Mendy! :drink: :tt03:

Doesn't matter - 1,000 yards for an offensive player is a remarkable feat and I'm damned proud of him!

wow, I didn't know he was that close. He's had a lot of under 100 yard games, but those add up.

Good job Mendy, now push it hard the last four games and break it out.

Nice. Wallace should go over 1,000 receiving for the season too. So for the 2nd straight season, a 1,000 yard rusher and a 1,000 yard receiver.

Wallace is ahead of some elite company:

It's strange. For some reason it always feels like we aren't running the ball well, but 1,000 yards in 12 games surely says otherwise. Mendenhall is a great back, and I'm really glad we have him. Congrats to him for reaching that 1,000 yards mark for the second straight season!

It's a hell of an accomplishment. Especially when you consider how banged up our O-line has been this year.

Hats off to ya, Mendy.:clap2:

Congrats to Mendy he has performed well under horrible circumstances.

I love to give my friends who are Cryboy fans a lot of grief. How many yards does Felix Jones have again?

I agree 1000yds isnt what it used to be but in 12 games that isnt to shabby thats about 80yds per game he still on pace to run for over 1300yds this season which is outstanding

A really big day or two in the next 4 weeks and he could be pushing 1,500.

There is potential for a HUGE day against the Panthers... I just watched the Seahawks run all over them yesterday.

Yep. I was in the majority on that one. I said 1200-1400. Getting between 200 and 400 yards in the last 4 games seems about right.

Rush defense of our upcoming opponents:
Bengals: 24th
Jets: 3rd
Panthers: 27th
Browns: 20th

I can see it. Even with the makeshift o-line

Way to go Mendy. Kudos despite having a sub par O line all year.

Yes, but how many yards does he have after we take away his big runs? As a long time poster on the previous board it was my understanding that long runs do not count.:wink02::nervous:

Rest him game 16, 17 and use MEMO. Id rather see Redman spell him in the playoffs.

Im guessing we'll be 12-3 with the Home game locked up. Remember the year Ben got concussed vs the Browns.

We are far from clinching a 1st round bye. The AFC is just so damn competitive this year. And the Ravens could most definitely win all of the rest of their games. And the Jets will be a ridiculously hard game, and so will the Browns.

The Jets are some damn overrated along with Sanchez. Hes a 2nd year QB who hasnt seen a defense like this. We have the #1 run def and what do the Jets do? They Run. As for the Browns ... ill just leave it at that

And we are still susceptible to the pass. Always keep that in mind. ALWAYS.

The Browns? Yeah, you mean that nightmarish team that blew out the Saints and Patriots? The leagues finest, whom we lost to? They also came within a heartbeat of beating the Bucs, Chiefs, Ravens, Jets, and Jags. The Browns are no joke. They are the ultimate spoiler team in the league, and I have almost no doubt in my mind that we would lose if we rested our starters and played our backups in Week 17. Holmgren is cleaning up Cleveland.

Nice job Mendy he has been running the ball hard this year. I would love to see what he could do behind a real good offensive line hopefully we will know someday.
