Pittsburgh Steelers' Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger: Man of Steel

Terrell Owens of the Cincinnati Benglas recently called Pittsburgh Steelers' quarterback Ben Roethlisberger "soft". I wonder if he had a chance to watch the game Sunday night between the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens.

I'm sure T.O. wouldn't have been able to play with a broken nose. I'm sure alot of you have had broken noses out there and know that your eyes water up pretty badly and it's awfully hard to focus. Ben did a amazing job playing with the nose problem. His foot was also a factor somewhat, although the 'boot' helped greatly. Many players out there wouldn't play if they had sore thumbs.

I always believed the late Steve McNair was the toughest NFL QB I had seen in my lifetime, but Ben tops McNair with that elite designation. "Man Of Steel" is the perfect title for our Ben!

As for you TO and your buffoon sidekick - :upyours: When looking up the definition of the word "wimp" in the dictionary, your names come up #1 and 2. Batman and Robin? More like Fuckwad and Slobbin (knob).

The reaction Suggs had after he failed to sack Ben was priceless..

i really thought you where not suppose to hit a QB in the head and i think suggs on that play was all over slapping bens... but whatever if was a great play to just outside the tackle box to chuck it

"I also don't see any other qb surviving behind that offensive line. Brady and Manning are horrible when they actually get real pressure against them. Ben goes through that on a weekly basis. Ben has been sacked more than other any other qb in the NFL since 2004. He doesn't complain, it's almost as if he enjoys it."

Another thing I liked about Ben last night was he threw to the RB's when he got pressure instead of taking the sack. There was one play where he was in the grasp and threw it to a RB (Memo?). They didn't get the 1st down but he did what he had to do. And that near sack avoiding Suggs was just unbelievable. Maybe the greatest incompletion I've ever seen.

Big Ben, 6-2 vs the Ravens in his career.

He owns them at this point.
