Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel has been sidelined most of the last five games due to a hamstring injury.
Defensive end Brett Keisel said his hamstring is healed, and he is ready for the game Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

"I feel good. I got two zeros, man, and a one," he said, referring to his 100 percent health. "I'm chomping at the bit to get back out there."

The hamstring kept him out of most of the past five games. He returned Nov. 8 against the Cincinnati Bengals, but reinjured the hamstring in the game.

"I think he's ready to go, definitely," defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau said. "The training staff gave him the OK to practice and he's practiced all week, I don't think he missed a snap.".................................

Good to hear. We need to start turning these injuries around. Get healthy for the SB run.

This will really give us a boost on defense glad to have him back.

Hope he is 100%. This is the kind of injury that on one snap could return or worse become a tear. We can't lose him for the season!

Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel may have to wait at least one more week to return to the playing field.

The Steelers have listed the eighth-year veteran as questionable for tomorrow’s 1 p.m. game because of a calf injury..................

Well, if there's one game I'm not worried about him missing, it's this one.

Agreed. I'd rather have him back 100% for the next game.

I was hoping he'd be eased in tommorrow so he could be 100 percent for the ravens

but if he can't go I trust hood and eason

Hopefully he will get a few game reps just to get back in top shape.

It would be great to see Keisel in there today, but if he isn't 100% ready, I'd rather save him for the Rats game. Hood and Eason have done OK in his absence and if Brett indeed doesn't play today, we'll be fine.

I am definitel ready to see some people returning from the injury list. I would love to have him come in today and get up to game speed but only if he's healthy and I'm sure the Steelers feel the same way we do on that, so if he's in it will be a great sign and huge boost to our team. Great news.

Much rather have Keisel for the Ratbirds than the Bills any day. Rest him now so he doesn't make this injury any worse.

Good good! I want to see Ziggy continue to get all of those reps at DE. I think it's really impressive that we conjured up our best rush-defense performance with both of our starting DE's out. The future of Ziggy looks swell! :)
