Lawrence Timmons has my vote. :yay3:

Willaim Gay.

Or not.

Timmons is not a bad choice, and neither would be Rashard. However, I am going to go a little out there and say Ike. Without Ike our secondary would be ...... well, definitely not swaggen.

Pouncey on offense and Timmons on defense.....both have consistently played well each week. IMO

I gotta go with Timmons and an honorable mention to Pouncey.

I am at a standstill between Harrison and Pouncey.

Pouncey has just given us some serious punch in the interior of the O-line. Not to mention out of our big time players in all 3 phases, I think Pouncey has been the most consistent.

Harrison, Pouncey and Timmons

but I expected greatness from timmons and harrison, not so much from pouncey. So he gets my vote

Wow, not a single vote for Troy?! I guess that's the difference between having access to film or not. Those that do would probably find us crazy for missing what Troy does for this defense.

Keep an eye on consistency. He was horrific against the Saints and unimpressive against the Fins. What film are you watching?

Who is Maukice Pouncey...is this a 3rd Pouncey brother...in addition to the Steelers Maurkice and the Gators Mike? hahah :-P

Anyways tough one...Timmons on D. For the O...Pouncey has helped Mendy rack up some decent yards...thats tough...I'm going with Mendy...he's help a lot this year...take him out and we dont win some games that we did.

#98 casey hampton, anchor of the defense and only starter left on the D-Line.

I'm going with Pouncey, as there has been a marked and noticeable improvement at his position. This kid has been as consistently good as it gets.

I had to go with Pouncey. The kid comes in, gets in his groove, takes over the center position, and has proven he knows the game of football. He's calling out protection, he's recognizing plays...he very well could be our next Webster and Dirt.

Pouncey and Timmons currently tied at 9, meanwhile Polamalu still doesn't have a vote.

Granted Hampton is having a very good year, but still he comes off the field the majority of the time when we play nickel or dime defense.

Ike has really played well and even has a couple of picks, which is truly remarkable. Of course every time he gets an interception we lose the game. He needs to knock that off.

Troy hasn't played up to his ability this year and even made a couple of errors that contributed to the loss against NO.

Remember last year, in the short amount of time he was actually on the field, when he'd just take over games? I miss that.

I think you'd need game film to actually gauge that. Put it this way, I think if we went into an important game Troy is the guy that LeBeau would tell you he could least afford to lose.

No doubt, and I'd agree with Dick on that. I'm not saying that he hasn't been good, it's just that he's set an extraordinarily high bar for himself and I guess I judge him by that. I wouldn't put him above Timmons right now as team MVP, but if I had to put money on who will probably be my MVP by season's end, I'd bet on Troy... provided he stays healthy.

As far as MVP so far this season goes, a case could be made for Aaron Smith. Even though he didn't play in the last couple of games, his performance when he has been on the field has been nothing short of stellar.

I agree as far as Timmons goes, he deserves first half MVP.

And if i had to guess about second half MVP, I've got a sneaky hunch that Ben will emerge as our best player down the stretch.

I really hope you're right about Ben. Especially given what's going to be happening on his blind side.
