CINCINNATI - Call this one a game for the generations.

It's been more than 20 years since the Cincinnati Bengals last beat the Steelers three times in a row. But after winning both games against the Steelers last year, that's what the Cincinnati Bengals have an opportunity to do tonight at Paul Brown Stadium.

"It's a big game for us. It really is," said Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, a McDonald native. "We have to get back to wining football games. We let some games slip in the last four weeks, so we have to do a much better job, get a good start, play consistently through the midpoint of the game and then finish at the end."

This game always makes me a nervous wreck.

It's personal. The boys owe me a bigtime win.

This is what I call a "doughnut game" - a game against a lesser opponent that you should beat right in the middle of 2 big games. The Steelers can and should win this game tonight, but they have a really bad habit of letting bad teams hang around and finding a way to win. I expect nothing less than a nail-biter tonight, and I would not be surprised at all if the Bengals win.

This one scares me as well. I would like to see us put one away early for a change. No nail biting needed tonight.

They all have scared me the last few seasons to be honest with you all. Even when we have 10 plus point leads going into the 4th quarter, I still have that uneasy feeling that they will blow it.

I'm a little nervous before every game and always have been, as I never take any team for granted no matter how much they suck. That being said, however, I believe in our Steelers and go into every game believing we are going to come out on top when that final second ticks off the clock and I'm going into tonight's game with that same positive attitude. :tt02: :tt03:
