Keith Olbermann donated money to the campaigns of 3 Democratic candidates. Wow , I would have never thought he was a liberal . Bahahahahahaha

I agree with fansince. This is simply a case of Olbermann being Olbermann. This isn't surprising to anyone and doesn't count as a controversy in my book.

It's silly for MSNBC to have a rule against that. Olbermann does an opinion show. How can it be OK to spew propaganda every night but not OK to give a couple thousand dollars to a campaign?

Probably because he agreed to participate in MSNBC's voting night coverage...which is NOT an opinion show.

well I watched a little of MSNBCs coverage on election night and it sure looked like an opinion show to me.
They had O'Donnell, Maddow, Matthews and Olbmann, I mean c'mon !!

You are exactly correct...Olbermans suspension is the knee jerk reaction to the flak that MSNBC is catching for their one-sided coverage.

The "rule" might be bullcrap...but the enforcement of the rule was correct.
