Carson Palmer gets a kick out of seeing Troy Polamalu, his former housemate at Southern California, do TV commercials.

The Bengals' quarterback isn't so fond of seeing Polamalu on the football field, as will be the case Monday night when the Bengals host AFC North co-division leader Pittsburgh.

The Bengals (2-5) will be trying to snap a four-game losing streak.

Polamalu missed 11 games last season, including one against the Bengals, and the All-Pro safety is a major factor in why the Steelers defense is ranked No. 1 in the NFL in points allowed and rushing.

"It's a good defense, a top-five defense without him," said Palmer. "But with him he brings so much confidence to the guys around him just knowing that they have him on the field. He makes so many plays. He's all over the place. He's so much faster and plays at such a different speed than just about everybody on the field."....................................
