There have been some alarming trends involving the Steelers recently. And I’m not talking about all the pathetic whining fans are doing about the holding on James Harrison, about the fines against James Harrison and about the way the league keeps picking on the Steelers. Boo-hoo.

Although it is alarming that Steelers fans, who pride themselves on their macho nature, would be such crybabies. Some of them might even be confused with Dallas Cryboys fans.

But it’s the team’s inability to run the football successfully and it’s failure to display championship-style pass coverage that is what's truly alarming about the Steelers.

A stout run defense, and there is none stouter, and the arm of Ben Roethlisberger probably aren’t enough to earn playing time in February...............
