Overheard

"I had the ball but the official said 'Let the ball go, it's a touchdown," so I did. But I knew I had the ball because I was losing the feeling in my arm from squeezing it." -- Jonathan Scott

"It might have been like 13 to 15 yards," Wallace said of the cushion. "It doesn't matter. I just run past them."

With how our young guys are shaping up, we have so much to be excited about. :tt03:

5 ... Inside the Number

That's the number of catches of 41 yards or longer this season for WR Mike Wallace, who had a 53-yard touchdown against the Dolphins. Those plays account for more than 35 percent of his season totals.

One-trick pony.

How can ya not love MW? I was listening to a local sports talk radio show this morning and one of the commentators said that Wallace is going to have to do a "hell of a lot more" to even "come close" to being as valuable to the team as Santo was. Does this pinheaded bozo realize that this is only Wallace's second season in the NFL? Needless to say, my middle finger got quite the workout after listening to that mindless drivel. :upyours:

I remember that all too well. Unfortunately, the Pittsburgh sports media isn't happy unless they are bitching and whining about something - anything their weasly little minds can conjur up.
