1. Has anybody noticed that his productivity has not dropped off in his sophmore season?

2. The strength of Mike Wallace is that he outruns the opponent's corner blitzes and gets open.

3. He also has good hands.

4. He has never been overthrown.

Or how about considering the fact that he only has 12 catches? He's barely on pace for 40 catches... im still waiting on him to be a complete receiver. I'll keep missing Santonio til that happens. Bravo, he can burn someone deep 1-2 times a game.

You notice on his fly routes the defender knows its coming but simply can not keep up. Dudes a freak....

When you have high school qb's throwing the ball to you thats what happens

I love Wallace and he already has proved that there will be no slump and his skill is only approving. He is already an obvious deep threat who has the speed and route running to beat defenders deep, and his hands are like glue. I would like to see him put more output on shorter passes, but as long as he is getting the ball and scoring, I won't complain.

I will give him the long balls and keep the short hits for others. His YAC do not matter right now because his average is so high. There has been no deep threat like this since "Air Coryall".

1) You don't need to be a route runner to do 9 and 0 routes, and everything similiar to those.

2) Oh he's getting the ball...barely two times per game.

I'm just glad his TD wasn't reviewed. Sure looked like a little bobble going on as he went out the back of the endzone.

I would rather him catch two deep balls a game for TD's or big plans than him catch 10 a game for dink and dunks worth anywhere from 5 to 12 yards, but doesn't score.

I noticed that too when I watched it again.

so far he looks to be an upgrade over the overrated holmes. i grew tired of holmes' off-the-field issues, drops and lame antics after routine catches.

Agreed, i would like to see wallace do some more after the catch however. But i think thats what sanders is for, he just hasnt gotten his opportunities yet

i can't believe how good his hands are. every time a ball is deep in the air for wallace i get flashbacks to limas sweed/nate washington and then a sigh of relief after wallace catches it.

He had Batch and Dixon throwing to him. Batch missed 2-3 wide open TD passes to him as well against the Ravens.

On the hands department I have absolutely no complaints with wallace. Especially in comparisson to holmes

His short routes will come. He's had some already, and with ben they will start coming a lot more

His hands are great if anything is close to him he seems to always come away with a catch. I think we have us a good receiver for years to come.

I noticed it too and was screaming for them to snap the ball fast on the extra point!
