LAWRENCE TIMMONS
Inside Linebacker

The primary focus of the day was the return of Ben Roethlisbergerhttp://www.steelers.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.steelers.com/team/roster/ben-roethlisberger/54dda34e-9e43-4c57-9397-1143ddced5d6/), but as they had been doing all season to this point, the Pittsburgh Steelers showed themselves to be anything but a one-man team.

The Steelers defense came into the game ranked No. 4 in the NFL overall, but No. 1 in points scored, and the unit recorded five sacks and forced two of the three takeaways the team managed over the course of a 28-10 win over the Cleveland Browns (http://www.clevelandbrowns.com/) in front of 65,168 enthusiastic fans on Sunday at Heinz Field.

As he has been since this season opened, Lawrence Timmonshttp://www.steelers.com/assets/nflimg/icon-article-link.gif (http://www.steelers.com/team/roster/lawrence-timmons/afc86dd7-633e-4e37-a4da-5f089a96b666/) was a big part of the defense’s success, with 11 tackles, two sacks that raised his season total to three, and an interception that set up the Steelers’ final touchdown. For that performance, Timmons is the Steelers Digest Player of the Week.................

I think he's gonna finish as the NFL's leader in Tackles by season's end. He even got love on Let's Go Primetime, I couldn't believe it lol.

Finally paying off for this young kid, after battling injuries last season now he finally is playing 100% and it's showing. This kid is their on every tackle and the way he explodes through the OL is incredible. This kid is having one hell of a season already, and he is only going to get better!

Was he not Tomlins first pick after retaining Dick , Mr. HOF,er? Woodley had the most playing time because of the injuries LT was going through. Once he hit the field,we all see why he was a prized pick by Tomlin. Timmons is showing his true colors, and i love it.

Timmons made only one mistake that I seen and that was leaving his man to try and tackle Colt McCoy and after he got his ass chewed by Tomlin I don't think he will make that mistake again.
