If you think time has done a miraculous job of healing Ben Roethlisberger's broken image, wait 'til you see what winning does. One victory, maybe two, and the man will have gone from pariah to messiah in six months.

That is not an endorsement of Roethlisberger. It's just the truth, so far as it relates to the greater part of Steeler Nation.

Kudos to Ben for doing all that was asked of him from the NFL and the Steelers organization.

He promised Bettis to take him to the Super Bowl 5 years ago. He delivered on his promise.
Ben, make a promise to yourself that you will shine this season and return the Steelers back to the SB.

If Ben can reassert himself as a winner and a leader, he may put together a couple of SBs.

Beating the clowns will go a long way in PR repair. Beating the ratbirds would almost completely heal the wound. Destroy everyone in between those two games, the wound will be non-existent.
