Well,Steelers week for me. I still think it’s a great rivalry. But the polish has tarnished since Roethlisberger retired. I’m still looking forward to Sunday and I think it’s the #1 game at 1:00 pm on CBS. But it just doesn’t seem like it used to be.

Of course it matters. But when you have zero idea what your team is actually trying to do on gameday, it’s hard to think about who we’re playing. More like can we just get a first down? Can we put together a drive of something comparable to 7-10 plays without a penalty, turnover, or punt?

Somehow we’ll beat the Ravens. No idea how but it will happen.

It is so difficult to pin down how this game is going to go. Everything from what we have seen says the Ravens should win this one fairly easily, but the Steelers are such a Jeckyl and Hyde team on top of playing a rival that I can see how the Steelers find a way to win this.

My “head” is not as reliable as it used to be lol. But I do think the Ravens have a shot at winning this game by more than the usual 3 points that these match-ups seem to end with. If the Steelers struggle to score (especially if they have trouble getting first downs), their defense is going to be on the field a lot, and will likely get gassed. Not sure how healthy Bateman and OBJ are, but if good to go, they and Flowers may have a good chance of putting up some points. I think Roquan Smith and Jadaveon Clowney (as well as Patrick Queen and Kyle Hamilton) are going to have Pickett on the run a lot. And he likely isn’t that mobile after his injury last week.

But, as this rivalry shows, a Steelers 24-17 win would not truly surprise me. It’s like you can throw out the script on these games as strange things can happen.

I like the optimism but seriously ,pretty hard to be class of division averaging 2.9 ypc and every drop back KP pressured. O line needs major improvement for Steelers to be class of division. Harris and Warren are both studs but look like Benny Snell behind Steelers line. As for the sarcastic last comment, of course Steelers weren’t perfect but Ravens had far more costly turnovers and dropped passes. I love that they won but can’t kid myself into believing it wasn’t a fluke. Don’t get me wrong the D was phenomenal all around and KP played the hand he was dealt perfect.

You can't catch the ball for them. Lamar seemed very comfortable staying in the pocket and throwing good passes...Unfortunately (for you) his receivers let him down multiple times. There are ALWAYS gonna be a couple of big splash plays by either defense in these games but the Ravens had the opportunities to have a much bigger lead than they did.

Pretty hard yet here we are. 1st in the division. Exactly as I posted originally, Steelers are the class of the division for now.

Part of playing football and being good at it is catching footballs, not getting your punt blocked, and stopping the other team from scoring. The Ravens did none of that. The better football team won yesterday. Now we go into our bye week in 1st place in the AFCN.

You guys can caveat every positive thing the Steelers do, but I’m going to enjoy now. I’m not waiting until we are SB contenders again to celebrate my team. You guys can go be miserable, I’m going to enjoy the moments.

People act like Watt doesn't do this on every open-field play/tackle he is involved in. He has been flagged for it a few times before. He has also caused fumbles with it. Holcomb is another one that really has an active punch also.
