PITTSBURGH -- There's no 4-0 team in the NFL for the first time since 1970, so the consensus is there is no dominant team.

But I disagree. Football pundits aren't looking hard enough, because the league's lone dominant franchise resides in Pittsburgh.

The Steelers (3-1) have been winning quietly and playing at less than 100-percent capacity without quarterback Ben Roethlisberger (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=5536), who is returning this week from a four-game suspension. Still, they are 32 seconds away from being 4-0, which virtually throws out the aforementioned stat everyone wants to talk about.

Don't let a late Joe Flacco (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=11252) touchdown pass fool you: Pittsburgh is elite. Now at full strength, Pittsburgh is ready to show its dominance Sunday against the Cleveland Browns (http://espn.go.com/nfl/team/_/name/cle/cleveland-browns) (1-4).

Here is why the Steelers are the NFL's most dominant team:.............

I prefer flying under the radar. It makes it more fun to win when everyone expects the Steelers to lose.

I understand the thought process but I would love nothing more than to be the dominant team that everyone wants to knock off "their Superbowl" so to speak, because to me nothing is more fun than saying yeah were king of the mountain and even though we get your best you still can't knock us off the top. You had your chances when Ben was gone but now he's back and we're better than ever.

I wanna see teams pee their pants when they see the Steelers are on the horizon!!!

Bingo.

"Flying under the radar" only works for teams that aren't quite as crappy as people think. Become dominant and you get in their heads, and your team develops the confidence needed to never give up because they believe they can always come back and win.

The rats are a classic example of this statement. Remember when they wore some t-shirts about the Steelers in the pre-season last year and begged the NFL not to make them play a prime time game against the Steelers??? Tell me who is in whose head.

Hines Ward voted the dirtiest player last year, this is a receiver who's to small and not quite fast enough but again who is in whose head???

What I absolutely love about the character of the Steelers we just go out and do what we do and let our play on the field speak for itself.

That is what I love as well. How helpless does it feel when you know what a team is going to do and you have no way of stopping it?

Screw "flying under the radar." After a solid decade of Favre/Manning/Brady ballwashing, I'm glad to see us getting some credit for a change. I mean, we were winning things just as often if not more than the various "golden boys" the whole time.
