I can be wrong but I think Romo make 17 millions per year right now and he has several years left in his contract......

He hasn’t been as good as he was and half the time (and it’s been confirmed), the guy is eating while broadcasting…

Intervention for what?! I was never enamored with the guy starting out, like most people were. Personally, I liked Phil Simms much better and still do.

Romo was good when he started but I think he was told to stop predicting plays and now he is just another announcer. CBS announcers suck anyways. I'd rather listen to the radio guys.

Greg Olsen is going to get screwed over when Brady takes over as lead analyst. Olsen has done a great job IMHO

That's one of the most annoying things I see watching certain podcasts on youtube, a group gets together to chat for an hour or two and there always has to be one guy who eats the majority of the show. Finish eating your meal before the show, makes you look like a jagoff otherwise.

Why didn't they try interventions with Dan Fouts before we had to have our ears bludgeoned by him for several years?!?!

Romo fell into the trap all the recently retired guys that go on TV do. First year or so, it is super easy. You have prepped at a really high level for all the teams, coaches, players, and schemes. You can talk about it rather than have to execute for an entire game? Easy peasy! But then...it is a few years in and you're knowledge is outdated and incorrect. Now you have to actually put work in....some step-up and do that....others do not.

Dan Fouts the best example of a guy I think did basically nothing from the day he retired from playing to the day he retired from broadcasting but show up on Sundays and hope he knew enough to fake his way through it...

Also , I think that is how Pete Carroll drafted so well for a few years

I was just thinking this. Olsen is going to get a big screw job and he’s been good.

Romo still gets most of the predicting plays correct and knows what he’s talking about, but it’s just different and there’s a lot of “filler” talk in there that didn’t used to be there. Maybe because he’s more comfortable behind the mic he’s chatting more but it gets annoying…
