As tired as I am of hearing that beating .500 is an accomplishment, it would be awesome to finish the season beating the ravens and browns.

But tbh the .500 and better streak is nothing to be proud of, the standard is postseason success which we had nothing but embarrassment there in recent memory. We actually made Baker Mayfield look like a legit franchise QB in our last playoff appearance

I think you honestly understand the .500 or better streak is a Tomlin thing and not a team/Steelers thing. For a HC to finish .500 or better for as long as he has is very much a personal accomplishment and worthy of notice and praise. This season aside, I have never questioned his vision for this team.

I do believe in miracles. I do not believe that last scenario is going to play out. I think the Dolphins can lose both of their games. I think the Jets can handle their 1win/1loss. I think the Pats can pull off 1win/1loss too.
I do not think the Chargers will lose all 3 of those games. If the Chargers actually lose out, the entire coaching staff and front office personnel need to be fired before they leave the field that day.
The Steelers just need to win the games in front of them and I think 3of4 scenarios are actually very possible.

It is NOT the standard, but it is indeed something for which to root for during a season with a rookie QB. Also, I will be rooting for the stars to align allowing the Steelers to eke the playoffs… and then I will be rooting for them to go on a historical run (to win #7).
