Of course, they're the only team that lost to the Texans and the Texans lost close game to the Cowboys and Chiefs in their last 2 games but I still really like their chance.

I think the Browns know they aren't going anywhere and they want to give Watson as much as they can without crushing his confidence with the long time away from playing football. It makes sense to get him ready for next year.
