I didn't like it, but the problem is there really were no good choices. You don't make it on 4th down, the game is over right then and there. I would be more concerned that we got shut out for the entire second half until the very end, and looked bad doing it. What went into creating that problem was worse. Personally, I agree. Hell, I wouldn’t ever kick. But that’s another debate.

I agree. Complete a quick pass then spike the ball. Try to get into the endzone from there rather than needing a 60 yard drive to win it. Still reliant on a successful onside because of punting the ball with less than 5 minutes left per op.

Why? Because if Pickens uses TWO hands, he scores a TD with 2:12 left. Kickoff takes 0 seconds (if you kick it out of the end zone). Then, after the first play, call a timeout. The two-minute warning stops the clock after second down. Stop them on third down, and Voila!!! you get the ball back with 1:20ish left.
