I know many are criticizing Mitch and already are calling for Kenny BUT … Mitch did not turn the ball over and when we really needed it - he made a play to get us in FG position.

yes - we should have lost if the bengals converted the extra point but they didn’t and our defense was playing well - so well that Mitch did not need to take chances. And yes, that resulted in a blah offense but it was an offense with zero turnovers.

we just beat the defending AFC champions in their stadium. They had tons of help like the refs trying to give them the game at the end and who the hell makes a 59 yard field goal.

a win is a win and it sucks that Watt is injured but I’ll take a win over Cincy any day.

I don’t care about the stats. This is a good set up to get better. I think the team will play better because of this result. The OL will play better. I think Mitch will play better and Canada will scheme better.

if the team can play this poorly and still win - I can only imagine what they can do when they are really good.

The problem is that you might have to imagine it. Maybe if we were still at full strength I could have your optimism. But without Watt, and maybe Harris for awhile, I don't see us being able to hang with most teams.

I’m happy with the win too, but I can still be disgusted with the QB play. Seems like there was no first downs in the entire second half

common theme here is Matt Canadas offense and a low paid low skilled O-Line ... 1st round RB and guess what he cant run the ball 2.3 YPC isnt good enough with so much invested at the RB pos.... it comes down to scheme and personnel and we have neither and if anyone doesnt believe that has an impact on the passing game I have some ocean front property in Arizona I would like to sell you

definitely happy about the win, it was big divisional win, but not happy about Trubisky's performance. Every defense is going to be licking their chops waiting to go against MT. I thought there was a small chance that we'd see an improved Mitch from his Chicago days but reality has set in.

I'm expecting the coaches to make KP the starter in week 2, if not, i'm expecting him to take the reigns in the 2nd half.

We had no business losing that game and then we had no business winning it.
