I get it. Imagine Yankee Stadium, “The House That Ruth Built”, now called Pfizer Park. Big difference. Then again, no one in the Baltimore area really calls it M&T Bank Stadium. It’s simply called Ravens Stadium by most. I suspect most Yinzers will call it Heinz Field regardless of the “official” marque.

yup . we here in Syracuse had the Carrier Dome for 42 yrs . this yr it too was renamed JMA Dome . it will just be called The Dome by us .

The Cardinals have been getting 7.7 mill a season since 2006, the Cowboys are getting somewhere between 17-19 million a season. The Texans signed a deal in 2000 (two years before the stadium opened) for 9 million a season through 2032.

This deal sounds pretty much right in the ballpark for NFL naming rights (no pun intended).
