The Lions will honor Hall of Fame CB Dick LeBeau at halftime of this Sunday's game against the Rams. With the Steelers on bye, LeBeau, who is Pittsburgh's revered defensive coordinator, is available to travel to Detroit for the honor.

LeBeau will be inducted into the "Pride of the Lions," the Lions' permanent display at Ford Field honoring the greatest players in franchise history. He will be presented with his Hall of Fame ring by Stephen A. Perry, president/executive director of the Pro Football Hall of Fame.............................

I still have no idea why it took so long for him to get in. Furthermore, he should have been inducted a second time as a coach. I know they don't necessary do it that way, but still....

I hope to see this on tv tomorrow. We'll see. I will, of course, be rooting for the Lions as a tribute to Papa Coach. :tt02:
